In our historic hotel restaurant, guests can enjoy a 5-course tasting menu, allowing you to tailor your dining experience to your preferences and needs.

We hold ourselves to high standards and aim to deliver dining experiences that delight both on ordinary days and special occasions. After visiting us, you will understand what makes the local food from Nordfjord uniquely special. We emphasize serving food that is fresh, pure, and free from additives, straight from the heart of the village. Our head chef, Bodil, is an outstanding ambassador for Norwegian farmers and products. She ensures that our menus consist of homemade dishes prepared with ingredients from local producers.

At Gloppen Hotel, groups can, by arrangement, order the chef’s two-course lunch at their preferred time. This is a great opportunity to enjoy local food made from fresh ingredients from the area, in historic surroundings.

A Brewery in the Cellar

Gloppen Brygg began as perhaps Norway’s smallest microbrewery, with production taking place in the hotel’s cellar. Here, beer was brewed using our own recipe and served to guests at Restaurant Stovene. As demand for larger volumes grew, Kinn Brewery took over the brewing process. Still, the recipe and the story remained our own – a local product with roots in the hotel’s very own cellar.
